Once settled in, you'll have free time to explore your surroundings independently.
In the evening, meet your new travel buddies. We'll take you to one of our favorite local restaurants for dinner, followed by a lively evening with a few 'buckets' on the notorious Khao San Road, soaking in its unique atmosphere.

Day 2: Bangkok → Kanchanaburi: River Kwai & Sunset Bridge

In the morning, depart Bangkok and head west to Kanchanaburi, a town famous for its historical significance.
Before reaching Kanchanaburi, stop off at one of our favorite spots, the Taling Chan floating market, to experience authentic local commerce.
Upon arrival in Kanchanaburi, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the River Kwai, taking in the beautiful scenery and local life.
Visit various museums and historical temples related to the area's WWII history.
Pass directly under the famous Bridge on the River Kwai, and later, enjoy a memorable sunset from the bridge itself.

Day 3: Kanchanaburi: Erawan Waterfalls Adventure

Pack your swimming costume for a day of refreshing activities! Today, you're heading to the magnificent Erawan Waterfalls, located just an hour's drive outside of Kanchanaburi.
Erawan is a seven-tiered waterfall, boasting beautiful emerald-green pools and natural slides on each level. Each tier is as impressive as the last, offering fantastic opportunities for swimming, relaxing, and capturing stunning photos.
After your waterfall adventure, you'll head back into Kanchanaburi town for dinner and drinks, sharing stories of the day.

Day 4: Kanchanaburi → Ayutthaya → Chiang Mai: Ancient Ruins & Overnight Train

Upon your bright and early arrival in Chiang Mai, you'll be transferred to your new hotel for check-in.
Choose to relax by the pool and unwind after the overnight journey, or head out to explore the city's many famous temples independently.
In the afternoon, make your way up to Chiang Mai’s most famous and revered temple – Wat Phra That Doi Sutthep (or Doi Sutthep for short). This stunningly beautiful golden temple is situated high up on the mountainside, offering incredible panoramic views of the city below and the surrounding landscape.

Day 6: Chiang Mai → Mae Wang: Exclusive Jungle Trekking & Elephant Interaction

Today is dedicated to an exclusive jungle trekking adventure in the Mae Wang and Doi Inthanon area, south of Chiang Mai.
You will be picked up from your hotel between 8:00 – 8:30 AM and drive approximately 1 hour south of Chiang Mai.
Visit a local market to buy supplies for your trek.
Spend about 1 hour with majestic elephants at an ethical sanctuary, enjoying feeding and bathing them in the river.
Have lunch at the Karen tribal village.
The trek will start from the Karen tribal village. Trek for approximately 5 kilometers through the lush jungle to another Karen Tribal village, where you will have dinner and spend the night, experiencing authentic village life.

Day 7: Mae Wang → Chiang Mai: Jungle Trek, Waterfall & Bamboo Rafting

Begin another leg of your trek, hiking approximately 3 kilometers to a beautiful waterfall.

After lunch, continue trekking for another 3 kilometers to the Mae Wang River, where your thrilling bamboo rafting adventure begins.
Enjoy a one-hour bamboo raft trip down the river, marking the end of your jungle adventure.

At 7:00 AM, begin your journey north, stopping at the relaxing Mae Khachan hot springs.
Visit the stunning and unique Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), a contemporary art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple.
Continue to Chiang Saen, an ancient city, before proceeding to the famous Golden Triangle area of Northern Thailand, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge.
Enjoy lunch, then visit a border town in Mae Sai, offering unique cross-border insights.

Board a traditional long-tail boat and travel along the historic Chao Phraya River, observing riverside life and landmarks.
Visit two of Bangkok's most prestigious temples: Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn) and Wat Pho, where you will see the very impressive giant and gold Reclining Buddha statue.
You will have a free afternoon which is best spent shopping to find some awesome bargains and to try the delicious street food that Bangkok has to offer.

Day 15: Bangkok → Khao Sok: Night Train to Khao Sok

In the evening, you will travel overnight on the train down towards Khao Sok National Park. Leave the hustle and bustle of Bangkok behind you and prepare to spend the next couple of days in the stunning Khao Sok National Park, situated in the Surat Thani province of Thailand.

Day 16: Khao Sok National Park: Floating Bungalows & Lake Fun

Today, you will arrive in paradise, one of Thailand's most unique and favorite locations.
Travel to your incredible floating bungalows on Cheow Lan Lake via a traditional long-tail boat.
Spend the rest of the day immersed in nature: diving into the fresh-water lake directly from your bungalow, trying out some kayaking, or simply cracking open a cold beer in a tube while floating on the serene waters.
In the evening, enjoy a relaxing time and dinner in front of the stunning backdrop of the dramatic limestone mountain range.

Day 17: Khao Sok → Koh Phangan: Freshwater Dip & Secluded Beach Relaxation

Upon arrival, you'll head straight to Bottle Beach, a beautiful, secluded beach that offers a sense of privacy, where you'll pretty much have it all to yourselves.
You will stay in comfortable beachfront bungalows just meters away from the water. Settle in, relax on the beach, have a swim, or go for a leisurely wander around.

In the evening, you'll board the overnight ferry for your journey to the mainland, departing from the Gulf coast.

Day 22: Mainland → Koh Phi Phi: Arrival & Viewpoint Trek

Upon arrival to the mainland from your overnight ferry, you will be transferred by private mini-bus and then by boat to the iconic western Thai island of Koh Phi Phi.
Once you arrive onto Phi Phi, you'll settle into your accommodation.
Later, head up to the stunning viewpoint of the island below, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas of Phi Phi Don's bays.

Day 23: Koh Phi Phi: Island Hopping & Party Scene

Spend today on an exhilarating boat cruise around all of the hotspots in the Phi Phi area.
Visit famous locations including Monkey Beach (where you can observe monkeys from a distance) and the mysterious Viking Caves.
You'll stop at the entrance to Maya Bay, also known as "The Beach" – made famous in the Leonardo DiCaprio movie of the same name (note: Maya Bay is often closed for rehabilitation, typically viewed from the boat).
Enjoy plenty of opportunities to snorkel and swim throughout the day in the crystal-clear waters.

Once you're back on land, prepare to hit Phi Phi town for its lively backpacker party scene.
