Day 1: Siem Reap: Arrival & Cultural Welcome

  • Welcome to Siem Reap, a charming gateway to the relics of Southeast Asia.

  • Upon your arrival at Siem Reap International Airport (REP), you will be warmly greeted by your guide outside the terminal and transferred to your hotel for check-in (or luggage drop-off if the room is not yet ready).

  • During the transfer, your guide will provide an engaging introduction to Siem Reap City, offering general information about local traffic, currency, shopping areas, and more. You'll drive through key areas like Sivutha Street, Old Market/Pub Street, and past Wat Damnak bridge, giving you a good orientation for your leisure time.

  • Evening: Do not miss the chance to immerse yourself in Cambodian culture by enjoying dinner with a traditional Apsara Dance show. Witness the exquisite movements and sophisticated silk-made tunics of the beautiful artists, performed with deftness and enthusiasm, leaving you amazed by their grace and warm smiles.

Day 2: Siem Reap: Treasures of the Angkor Complex

  • Morning (approx. 7:00 AM): Beat the crowds with an early start to visit the picturesque Ta Prohm temple. This iconic site has been left largely as it was found, nearly disappeared into the jungle and wonderfully overgrown, creating an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of ancient trees, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple, create a powerful embrace that evokes feelings you'll remember forever.

  • Continue your exploration to the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat, regarded as one of the world’s most impressive ruins and largest religious structures. Marvel at its vast landscape and fine Apsara carvings, a testament to Angkorian-era art.

  • Mid-day: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring authentic Cambodian flavors.
