Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand's mesmerizing capital! Upon your arrival at the airport, we'll warmly greet you and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After settling in and refreshing, dive straight into the city's spiritual heart with a captivating tour of its most magnificent temples. Marvel at the solid gold Buddha of Wat Traimit, admire the iconic riverside spires of Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), and be awestruck by the colossal reclining Buddha at Wat Pho.
This morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel to embark on a quintessential Thai experience: a visit to the vibrant Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Witness local life unfold as vendors in traditional boats sell fresh produce and goods along the canals. In the afternoon, our journey continues to Kanchanaburi, a province steeped in history. Here, you'll visit the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai, a poignant memorial to World War II. We'll also explore the nearby War Museum and War Cemetery, offering a powerful insight into this significant period. Afterwards, we'll head back to Bangkok.
Today, step back in time as we depart Bangkok for Ayutthaya, the glorious ancient capital of Siam. Your exploration begins with a visit to the stunning Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, a beautiful and eclectic collection of royal residences. Continue to the Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you'll wander amidst the impressive ruins of magnificent temples and palaces that whisper tales of a bygone era. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat trip on the Chao Phraya River as you make your way back to Bangkok, complete with a delightful buffet dinner onboard, offering picturesque views as the city lights up.
